Volleyball Recap: L'Anse Creuse North Victorious

L'Anse Creuse North won the last time they faced Lutheran North and things went their way on Monday too. The Crusaders came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0.

L'Anse Creuse North can attribute much of their success to O'Connor Aubrey, who had seven digs and four aces. That's the most digs Aubrey has posted over her last seven matchups. Isabella Hill also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

They weren't the only good server: L'Anse Creuse North was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive contests.

L'Anse Creuse North's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Lutheran North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-4.

Looking ahead, L'Anse Creuse North is taking a road trip to take on Grosse Pointe South at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lutheran North, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Marysville on the 15th.
