Scotus scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Concordia 54-10 on the road. That 54-10 margin sets a new team best for Scotus this season.
Meanwhile, Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family took their matchup at home on Saturday with ease, bagging a 61-28 win over Lyons-Decatur Northeast. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-11.
The victory makes it two in a row for Scotus and bumps their season record up to 2-3. As for Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Everything came up roses for Scotus against Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 73-37 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family's Halle Beller, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds.
