Two dominant signal callers in Shaan Patel and Kaden Mendenhall are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Fulshear Chargers will host the Alief Elsik Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fulshear knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Alief Elsik likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Fulshear got the win against George Ranch by a conclusive 64-42. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won six games by 22 points or more so far this season.

Fulshear can attribute much of their success to Ryland Forks, who picked up 178 receiving yards and four touchdowns, and Jaelyn Collins, who rushed for 111 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries. Forks has become a key player for the Chargers: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise. Trey Clewis also helped out with an impressive 81 receiving yards.
