After flying high against Jimtown last Tuesday, Concord came back down to earth. The Concord Minutemen fell 41-30 to the Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies on Saturday. The Minutemen's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Several Minutemen players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Shiloh Smith, who posted eight points. Shelby Emerick was another key player, putting up eight points.

Concord's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Plymouth, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Concord will challenge Bethany Christian at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Concord is facing Bethany Christian at the right time seeing as Bethany Christian is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. Plymouth has already played their next matchup (against South Bend St. Joseph), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
