Basketball Recap: Leonard Falls to Atlantic in First Game of Season

Leonard kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a blow against the Atlantic Eagles, falling 87-50. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Jeff Jean and Jamir Christie certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Jean posted seven points and 12 boards, while Christie earned nine points.

Leonard wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 83-41 defeat against Jupiter on the 19th. As for Atlantic, they will welcome Park Vista at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
