Volleyball Game Preview: Spring Valley Timberwolves vs. Bridgeport Indians

The Spring Valley Timberwolves will take on the Bridgeport Indians at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Spring Valley sitting on five straight wins and Bridgeport on eight.

Spring Valley's tournament run continued when they took on South Charleston on Monday. The Timberwolves were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Black Eagles.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Bridgeport sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Robert C. Byrd on Wednesday.

Bridgeport took Robert C. Byrd into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-13, 25-21, 24-26, 15-11.

Bridgeport's win bumped their record up to 32-11-5. As for Spring Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 34-12-7.

Spring Valley was able to grind out a solid win over Bridgeport in their previous matchup back in September, winning 2-0. Do the Timberwolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
