While Marsing didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 62-11 victory over Payette. That looming 62-11 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Huskies yet this season.

Meanwhile, Weiser put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Ontario with a sharp 69-44 win. Given the Wolverines' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 12th in Idaho, while the Tigers are ranked 136th in Oregon), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Marsing's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Weiser, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0.
