David Anderson is 8-2 against East Palestine since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Blue Devils will square off against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. David Anderson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Chaney hit David Anderson with a four-run first inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Blue Devils took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cowboys.

David Anderson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lexi Roush, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, East Palestine fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Memorial on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 11-9. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kennedy Andre was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She struck out nine batters over nine innings while giving up four earned (and seven unearned) runs off ten hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Kara Lewis was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Graycee Ford, who went 1-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.

East Palestine's record is now 5-7. As for David Anderson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

David Anderson couldn't quite finish off East Palestine in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 and fell 8-6. Can the Blue Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
