Basketball Recap: Tallwood Takes a Loss

Tallwood lost against Kempsville back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tallwood Lions received a blow as they fell 60-45 to the Kempsville Chiefs.

Tallwood's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-7. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Kempsville, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tallwood will venture away from home to square off against Bayside at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kempsville, they will square off against Cox at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
