Softball Game Preview: Pacifica Tritons vs. San Marcos Royals

For the second straight game, Pacifica will face off against San Marcos. The Tritons will head out on the road to take on the Royals at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Pacifica has given up an average of 11.7 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Pacifica is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Wednesday. They fell 11-6 to San Marcos. That's two games in a row now that the Tritons have lost by exactly five runs.

For San Marcos' part, Lucia Dessert spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up eight Ks.
