Basketball Recap: Amarillo Collegiate Academy Falls Despite Big Games from Ethan Jaramillo and Will Stollings

Amarillo Collegiate Academy lost against Amarillo HomeSchool F back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Amarillo Collegiate Academy Eagles lost to the Amarillo HomeSchool F Flames at home by a 57-41 margin.

Amarillo Collegiate Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Will Stollings, who went 7 for 16 on his way to 18 points and three steals, and Ethan Jaramillo, who posted six points in addition to seven boards and three steals. The contest was Stollings' third in a row with at least ten points.

Amarillo Collegiate Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Amarillo HomeSchool F, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

While Amarillo Collegiate Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
