Basketball Game Preview: Riverdale Ridge Ravens vs. Boulder Panthers

The Riverdale Ridge Ravens will face off against the Boulder Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Riverdale Ridge was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 58-53 to Brighton.

Meanwhile, Boulder waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mustangs, sneaking past 75-73.

Boulder's win came from a few key players Riverdale Ridge will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Lake Smith, who went 9 for 21 en route to 25 points and six boards. His evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lewis Racine, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 14 points and five assists.

Boulder smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in eight consecutive matches.

Riverdale Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Boulder, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.
