The Contreras Cobras will head out on the road to square off against the Santee Falcons at 4:00 p.m. Santee took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Contreras, who comes in off a win.

Contreras is headed out to face Santee after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Contreras put the hurt on Smidt Tech with a sharp 11-1 win on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Cobras have posted since February 23, 2024.

Meanwhile, Santee had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 11-5 to Gardena. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Andrew Hilario made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Contreras took their win against Santee in their previous matchup back in February of 2017 by a conclusive 12-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Contreras since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
