Basketball Recap: Powder Valley Triumphs

Powder Valley won against Elgin last Wednesday with 49 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Powder Valley Badgers escaped with a win against the Elgin Huskies by the margin of a single free throw, 49-48. That's two games straight that the Badgers have won by just one point.

Powder Valley is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points per game. As for Elgin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Powder Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 43-36 win against Joseph on the 24th. Elgin has also already played their next contest, a 62-47 victory against Pine Eagle on the 24th.
