Soccer Recap: Fort Vancouver Comes Up Short

If Fort Vancouver was riding high fresh off their 13-0 takedown of Kalama on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trappers lost 4-0 to the Seton Catholic Cougars on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Fort Vancouver can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while Seton Catholic are ranked 32nd).

Fort Vancouver's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Seton Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-0-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Vancouver will challenge King's Way Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Seton Catholic, they will square off against Stevenson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
