Basketball Recap: Lowell Falls Short of Lincoln in the Playoffs

Lowell and Lincoln squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Lowell had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Lincoln Mustangs and fell 68-36. The loss continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost seven in a row.

Lowell's defeat dropped their record down to 13-17. As for Lincoln, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-9 record this season.

Lowell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln, they will square off against Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Washington likes a good challenge.
