Basketball Recap: Curie Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

With a playoff win on the line, Curie rose to the challenge on Friday. They snuck past the Hinsdale Central Red Devils with a 62-57 win. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Condors' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Red Devils are ranked fifth).

Curie is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.1 points over those games. Hinsdale Central's loss dropped their record down to 29-4.

As of now, neither Curie nor Hinsdale Central have any future games scheduled.
