Volleyball Recap: New Braunfels Falls to Canyon in First Game of Season

New Braunfels unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Canyon Cougars on Monday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Unicorns have suffered since October 1, 2024.

While New Braunfels was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17, 25-20.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Braunfels is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Reagan at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Canyon, they will take on LEE at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
