Volleyball Recap: Harper Orr Key Part of Team Effort in Red Elephants Win

Gainesville not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 17, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Roswell Hornets as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Elephants.

While Gainesville won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 26-24, 25-19.

Gainesville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Harper Orr, who had 31 assists. Those 31 assists gave Orr a new career-high. Kyndall Butler was another key player, getting 13 kills.

Gainesville's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Roswell, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coming up, Gainesville will be taking part in a tournament against St. Pius X Catholic at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Roswell, they will head out on the road to square off against Chattahoochee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
