Baseball Recap: Model Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Model's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Berea Pirates on Tuesday. The Patriots' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

Model saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayden Wade, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Wade is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Model's record now sits at 0-3. As for Berea, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Model will head out to square off against Pulaski County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Berea, they will venture away from home to challenge Barbourville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
