Softball Recap: Patrick Henry Gets the Win

Patrick Henry lost to Liberty Center back in April, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Patriots came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 9-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Grace Behnfeldt was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophie Schwab, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Patrick Henry's win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Liberty Center, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Patrick Henry will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Edon at 5:00 p.m. Liberty Center does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
