Baseball Game Preview: Lecanto Panthers vs. Weeki Wachee Hornets

The Lecanto Panthers will take on the Weeki Wachee Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Lecanto took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They had just enough and edged River Ridge out 3-2.

Lecanto saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Xayvier Fitzpatrick, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Weeki Wachee sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over Lecanto.
