Basketball Game Preview: Edgewood Cougars vs. Eaton Eagles

The Edgewood Cougars just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Eaton Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Edgewood is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Harrison just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 36-33. The contest marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Eaton came up short against Waynesville on Saturday and fell 56-47. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now lost six in a row.

Edgewood now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Eaton, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
