Itzel Hernandez Game Report: vs Citrus Valley

Arlington came out on top against Citrus Valley on Tuesday thanks in part to Itzel Hernandez's efforts. Hernandez turned in nothing short of a gem, pitching seven innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

Looking ahead, Hernandez and Arlington will challenge Orange Vista at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hernandez has dominated as far as strikeouts are concerned (she's averaged 7.7 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering the Coyotes have only allowed 3.3 per game this season.
