Soccer Game Preview: Arrupe Jesuit vs. Bennett

Arrupe Jesuit hasn't had much luck against Bennett recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Generals will venture away from home to square off against the Tigers at 6:30 p.m.

Last Wednesday, Arrupe Jesuit sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Lake County. Arrupe Jesuit haven't had any issues with Lake County recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Saturday. Bennett and Sterling finished up their match with a 2-2 draw. Bennett's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Bennett's draw makes their record 4-3-1 this season. As for Arrupe Jesuit, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Arrupe Jesuit came up short against Bennett in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, falling 4-2. Can the Generals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
