Recap: Cold Springs Eagles vs. Fairview Aggies
The Cold Springs Eagles put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 35-26 win over Fairview. Given Cold Springs' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 14th, while Fairview is ranked 185th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Cold Springs' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Malaya Taylor, who scored 7 points along with 11 rebounds. Ella Dickerson was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 6 rebounds.
Cold Springs' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Fairview, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cold Springs will take on Hanceville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fairview, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Guntersville at 6:00 p.m.
