Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lord Botetourt walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Abingdon Falcons on Friday. Considering Lord Botetourt have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Lord Botetourt is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those six games. As for Abingdon, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8-1.

Lord Botetourt wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 7-2 loss against Christiansburg on the 3rd. Abingdon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
