Baseball Game Preview: Triumph Charter Jaguars vs. Fulton Jaguars

Triumph Charter will challenge Fulton at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Thursday, Triumph Charter got the win against Valley Oaks CES by a conclusive 20-3.

Gabriel Gonzales was incredible, going 4-for-5 with three stolen bases, six RBI, and four runs. Triumph Charter is undefeated when Gonzales posts three or more RBI, but 8-11 otherwise. Alex Reyes was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Triumph Charter always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Valley Oaks CES only posted an OBP of .381.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Fulton rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Saints with a sharp 14-7 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Jaguars considering their two-run performance the game before.

Triumph Charter's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Fulton, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.

Triumph Charter took their victory against Fulton when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will Triumph Charter repeat their success, or does Fulton has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
