Staunton is a perfect 6-0 against Charlottesville since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Storm will venture away from home to face off against the Black Knights at 5:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 19 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Staunton and 24 for Charlottesville dating back to last season.

Things were looking good for Staunton after they put the first runs on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They came up short against Stuarts Draft, falling 20-1.

Meanwhile, Charlottesville scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 17-4 to Goochland.

Charlottesville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sunny McFadden, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Charlottesville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Staunton, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 0-4.

Everything went Staunton's way against Charlottesville in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Staunton made off with a 10-0 victory. Will the Storm repeat their success, or do the Black Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
