Volleyball Recap: Lithia Springs Triumphs

It was a proper cat-fight when Lithia Springs duked it out with Lovejoy on Saturday. The Lions walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wildcats. The Lions were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Wildcats, so the Lions were just returning the favor.

Lithia Springs never let Lovejoy on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22.

Lithia Springs' victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Lovejoy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Lithia Springs has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against KIPP Atlanta Collegiate on the 23rd. Lovejoy has also already played their next match (against Hapeville Charter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
