Volleyball Recap: Pendleton County Comes Up Short

Pendleton County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lewis County Lions.

Pendleton County's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Lewis County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Pendleton County has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Lloyd Memorial on the 25th. As for Lewis County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Clinton County on the 23rd.
