Sacred Heart won the last time they faced North Forrest and things went their way on Saturday too. The Crusaders walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Eagles. The win was familiar territory for the Crusaders, who have now won eight matchups in a row.

Jameson Phillips spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Sacred Heart saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyron Murphy, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-4. That's the most stolen bases Murphy has posted since back in March.

Sacred Heart's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-6. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10 runs. As for North Forrest, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5.
