After failing to score in their last match, the Beaufort Academy Eagles made sure to put some goals up on the board against Varsity Opponent on Monday. They put the hurt on the with a sharp 6-1 victory. Andrew Butterfield was a massive factor in the win, as he booted in four goals all by himself.
Beaufort Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Varsity Opponent, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beaufort Academy will face off against Charleston Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will head out on the road to take on Central Florida Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
