Southern Boone won the last time they faced Kirksville and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers.

Kate Taylor paced Southern Boone's offense, picking up 15 kills. Taylor got some help from Payton Germann and her 21 assists. Sadie Ahern controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Chloe Schwend and Sam Meng certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Schwend had six assists and five digs, while Meng had two blocks and one assist. Olivia Boyer also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Southern Boone has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-18-1 record this season. As for Kirksville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.

As of now, neither Southern Boone nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
