Basketball Recap: Plainwell Takes a Loss

Plainwell lost against Paw Paw back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Plainwell Trojans fell 66-59 to the Paw Paw Red Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 264th, while the Red Wolves are ranked 63rd).

Plainwell's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Paw Paw, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Plainwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Paw Paw, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 47-41 victory against Otsego on the 7th.
