Baseball Game Preview: Johnson Creek Bluejays vs. Palmyra-Eagle Panthers

For the second straight game, Johnson Creek will face off against Palmyra-Eagle. The Bluejays will face off against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Johnson Creek's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Palmyra-Eagle's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Tuesday, Johnson Creek made easy work of Palmyra-Eagle and carried off a 9-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bluejays, who have now won six matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

For Palmyra-Eagle's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Brodzik, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Dillen Patrick also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

With the defeat, Palmyra-Eagle broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-3. As for Johnson Creek, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
