Softball Recap: Nevada Comes Up Short

If Nevada was feeling good fresh off their 11-3 takedown of Perry on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cubs came up short against the Grand View Christian Thunder on Friday, falling 14-3. The Cubs haven't had much luck with the Thunder recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Nevada's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Grand View Christian, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Nevada will take on Madrid at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Grand View Christian, they will welcome Perry at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
