Soccer Recap: Northeastern Takes a Loss

Northeastern managed to keep up with Central York until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bobcats came up short against the Panthers, falling 4-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Central York this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in September.

Northeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-5. As for Central York, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northeastern will square off against Eastern York at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Central York, they will face off against Manheim Township at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
