Basketball Recap: Van Buren's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

After flying high against Greenbrier on Monday, Van Buren came back down to earth. The Pointers took a 64-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Subiaco Academy Trojans on Friday. The matchup marked the Pointers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Van Buren fell to 5-1. As for Subiaco Academy, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Coming up, Van Buren will venture away from home to square off against Ozark at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Subiaco Academy, they will take on Charleston at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
