Marian's game on Saturday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They never let the Mason Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. Considering Marian have won nine contests by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Marian's third in a row) raised their record to 10-1-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Mason, they moved to 7-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Marian is set to square off against their familiar foe Mercy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mason will face off against rival Grand Ledge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mason are on a four-game streak of home wins, Grand Ledge a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
