Meanwhile, San Ysidro posted their closest win since March 22nd on Tuesday. They skirted past Crawford 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Colts: they've now won four in a row.

San Ysidro wouldn't go down easily and took Crawford into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 19-25, 19-25, 15-7.

Monte Vista better keep an eye on Ryan Nance. He was instrumental in San Ysidro's win, getting 24 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Nance has posted since back in April.

San Ysidro pushed their record up to 23-10 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Monte Vista, their victory bumped their record up to 23-12.
