If Gunnison wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Alamosa, they should've done a better job of containing Brennon Maez. The Mean Moose simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Cowboys 35-0 with plenty of help from Maez, who picked up 129 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Alamosa is undefeated when Maez posts 80 or more receiving yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

Alamosa's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.3 points on average over those games. As for Gunnison, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.
