Alamosa never let their opponents score on Friday. They breezed past the Gunnison Cowboys to the tune of 35-0. The result was nothing new for the Mean Moose, who have now won three contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Brennon Maez had an outrageously good game as he picked up 129 receiving yards and two scores. Those two receiving touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Alamosa was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 238 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gunnison only rushed for 26.

Alamosa's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.3 points on average over those games. As for Gunnison, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.
