Pope John Paul II dropped their record down to 19-5 on Monday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Montoursville Warriors, falling 6-0. The game marked the first time this season in which Pope John Paul II was not able to get on the board.

As for Montoursville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matchups by six runs or more this season.

For Montoursville's part, not much got past Logan Kirby, who gave up just six hits to keep Pope John Paul II off the board. Kirby has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jimmy Mussina was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Michael Reeder, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.
