Elias Samady leads Sage Creek to victory over Kamiak

Recap: Sage Creek Bobcats vs. Kamiak Knights
Even though the Kamiak Knights scored an imposing 59 points on Wednesday, the Sage Creek Bobcats still came out on top. Sage Creek wrapped up 2023 with a 73-59 win over Kamiak. The win made it back-to-back wins for Sage Creek.
Elias Samady was his usual excellent self, scoring 42 points. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Stephens, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Sage Creek's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Kamiak, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
Sage Creek won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Corona del Mar at 12:30 p.m. on December 28th. Corona del Mar will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Kamiak's road trip will continue as they head out to face Palm Springs at 11:00 a.m. on December 28th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in their respective states (Palm Springs is ranked 158th in California, while Kamiak is ranked 154th in Washington).
