Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph Academy Flashes vs. Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs

After flying high against Global Outreach Charter Academy last Tuesday, St. Joseph Academy came back down to earth. The St. Joseph Academy Flashes fell just short of the Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Flashes haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

St. Joseph Academy took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-17, 19-25, 22-25, 25-14, 15-11.

Alexis Hanna went supernova for Flagler Palm Coast, getting 37 digs and three aces. Hanna is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 27 or more in the last four games she's played.

St. Joseph Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-8. As for Flagler Palm Coast, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

St. Joseph Academy will face off against Crescent City at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
