Volleyball Game Preview: Normandy Invaders vs. Bard Early College Raptors

The Normandy Invaders will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Bard Early College Raptors at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Normandy can't be to happy about their upcoming road game considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to St. Vincent-St. Mary.

Normandy may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Meanwhile, Bard Early College got the win against Max S. Hayes on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0. The Raptors haven't had any issues with the Lakers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Bard Early College took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-10.

Normandy better focus on containing Alonso Ezell and Roberto Fernandez as the pair were huge in Bard Early College's win. Ezell had 14 digs and three aces, while Fernandez had four digs and two aces.
