Softball Game Preview: Valley Vikings vs. Moore Mustangs

The Valley Vikings will head out to face off against the Moore Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Valley has given up an average of 12.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Valley is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 13 runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against Atherton on Monday. They came up short against the Ravens, falling 14-2.

Meanwhile, Moore lost 15-5 to Waggener on Thursday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Moore, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Valley got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April against Moore by a conclusive 19-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
