On Tuesday Manchester will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will face off against the Rochester Zebras at 5:00 p.m.
Last Thursday, neither Manchester nor Columbia City could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rochester). Everything went their way against Wabash on Tuesday as Rochester made off with a 6-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Zebras needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.
Manchester's draw gives them a new season record of 4-2-2. As for Rochester, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-1-1 record this season.
Manchester took their victory against Rochester in their previous meeting back in September of 2023 by a conclusive 8-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Manchester since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
