Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Lexington

Lexington came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ontario Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Minutemen, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Lexington won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 27-25, 25-18.

Leading Lexington to victory were Sofi Brown and Ava Brown. Sofi had nine digs and two aces, while Ava hit 57.1% for 28 kills and 17 digs and one block. Ava has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more kills the last 27 times she's played.

Lexington's record is now 4-0. As for Ontario, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, Lexington and Ontario will both be playing Galion the next time they take the court. The Minutemen will host the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
